Ben's Return

On the evening of January 18th Ben and his family returned to Trike City. Rich and Lucy Schaad, our chapter directors, presented Ben with a combination of gifts that included a unique holiday character- a Santa Claus character riding a motorcycle, much like the old fellow "Pop" Jackson had on his trailer during Ben's ride to the beach. He was also given a special certificate of chapter membership, individual business cards and a special card from all those in the chapter that participated in the ride. Jim (Pops) and Maxine Jackson also gave him a mascot character- one of a blue M&M riding in a side car. The Edrington family also showed their appreciation by giving Jim a M&M character simular to the one that Ben was given.
Following the get together, some of the members of our chapter joined Pop's and Maxine in celebrating Pop's 86th birthday !
Renee and Wayne of Trike City took Ben and his family to Quaker Stake and Lube for the weekly Bike Night to eat and then show Ben the vast assortment of motorcycles that come to this event each week. Ben and Renee got an additional surprise in that the pink (that's right pink) trike that she had taken to Bike Night won the First Place Trophy for the bike of the night!
