Christmas In July All Children's Hospital Toy Run Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter FL1-M participated in the "Christmas in July" annual Toy Run for All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg. Honda's, Harley's BMW's, Custom Bikes and many other makes were present for the run. Our chapter was represented by nine bikes. In all there were about 200 bikes that made the run from Quaker Steak and Lube in Pinellas Park to All Children's hospital in St.Pete. The biking community came together amidst the heat, humidity and occasional showers to show their support for the needs of those children facing difficult medical problems. This run was established a few years ago, by the staff of Full Throttle magazine and Lightning Riders. The hospital had an ongoing need to replenish the supply of toys that the children enjoy during their stay at the hospital. While the donations of toys that are gathered during the Christmas holiday season fills the hospital's need during part of the year, the supplies dwindle during the summer months. Sooooo there is a Christmas in July for the kids at All Children's Hospital.
