Christmas Holidays 2011
This was and exceptional Christmas holiday season for Chapter FL1-M,
Clearwater, Florida.
We had fifteen nights where we rode our lighted bikes through many mobile
home communities, parades and other local community events.
This year weather conditions were perfect for our night rides. Each evening
the temperature was in the mid 70's . We
averaged about 15 bikes for our rides.
Our lighted bikes really were well accepted by our community. Both
youngsters and seniors paid us many compliments. When we stopped our bikes
or were awaiting
to start our rides, the general public surrounded our bikes and wasted no
time in getting pictures.
The generosity of those who placed money into the container that we provided
in support of the Pediatric Bain Tumor Foundation was amazing.
